Once your application has been processed and approved, VELOBOXES will provide you with one key for access to the chosen Velobox unit.
A deposit of £20 is required for the key provided to you.
The key must not be copied or given / loaned to anyone else. If we find you have given your key to someone else or copied the key, your space in the cycling facility will be revoked and the locks changed for safety of the other users.
You are entitled to one space in the bike storage facility unless this has been pre-approved and agreed with the housing association/ institution.
You are assigned a bike parking space and your key gives you access to only use the designated space allocated to you.
Anything other than bikes stored in the storage facility will be removed by staff.
If misuse of the unit is reported, VELOBOXES or the Housing Association reserves the right to revoke the key and access to a space in the designated Velobox or others in the future.
If you lose/ misplace the key, please contact VELOBOXES and a new key will be cut for you at a cost price of £20. A replacement key will be sent to the address provided on your account and may take a few business days to arrive.
You have 14 days from receiving your key to test your bike fits the storage unit, after which your yearly annual fee of £72 per annum, will be non-refundable.
If you choose to cancel your membership, please contact VELOBOXES at the contact e-mail or telephone number, to process this, once the key is received your deposit will be returned to you.
Once cancellation of your space has been agreed, please return your key to : Grease Monkey Cycles, 1 Rutland Square, Edinburgh, EH1 2AS. VELOBOXES are not responsible for lost keys in transit therefore it is recommended to post these tracked and recorded delivery, to ensure safe arrival.
If you do not wish to renew your membership at the end of the year, please contact VELOBOXES within 30 days of renewal date. If you do not wish to renew and you have contacted us and the key has been returned, but the money has been processed VELOBOXES will refund the full renewal amount.
